Working for myself with small businesses: a shop, a service provider, anyone running the operation on a spreadsheet that has stopped coping. I talk to the people who will use it, build it, ship it and keep looking after it. The client deals with one person, from the quote to support, and pays for what the business actually needs, not for a packaged deal.

A cryptocurrency exchange platform, with APIs consumed by the website and the mobile app. I helped bring in automated testing with PHPUnit, which made the codebase more reliable and shortened both debugging and the release cycle. On the product side I worked on new reports, tax reports and the continuous listing of new cryptocurrencies on the exchange, work that demands data accuracy and close attention to the market's compliance rules. I also built system health features: proactive monitoring that surfaces a problem early and cuts downtime. And I integrated OneSignal for the mobile app's push notifications.

The first time I worked in a team: a software house of twelve people split into two squads. Mine looked after a modular SaaS ERP, with a social media side and a sales side. I worked on the marketplace and payment integrations, on invoice issuing and on the cloud services.

The company was using a third-party chat and decided to have its own. I built that WhatsApp integration, for businesses with many agents talking to customers through a single number. At the time WhatsApp allowed one device per account, so serving customers as a team through the same number was exactly the problem to solve.

An ERP for doctors and clinics, aimed more at managing the doctor than the clinic. Multi-tenant, with patient scheduling. Built on Laravel 8 with Livewire.

A fleet management ERP, from the records to the reports: vehicles, drivers and what each trip costs along the way. The numbers come out as reports and charts, which is how you see which vehicle is costing too much. A three-month contract, on Laravel 8.

I worked on both of the company's ERPs. One was dental, multi-tenant, covering the whole clinic from finance to clinical processes. The other, built for a single client, was for civil construction and tracked sites, fleet and crews in the field.
